Jody McAuley is a Director and Branch Manager with Baird Private Wealth Management in Charleston, South Carolina, where he advises high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, foundations, and nonprofit organizations on investment management, wealth planning, trust and estate strategies, and philanthropy.
Jody began his financial services career in 1996 with A.G. Edwards & Sons and remained with the firm through its mergers with Wachovia and Wells Fargo. He brings nearly three decades of industry experience and has earned recognition as a Chairman's Council Producer for his commitment to client service, ethical standards, and professional achievement.
Jody earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. He is also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School in Nairobi, Kenya, and spent a semester studying abroad at Oxford University in England. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66 licenses.
Active in both his church and community, Jody is a member of St. Philip's Church and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Asheville School, his alma mater. He has also served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity and the I'On Community, including as President of the Board of Trustees. He is the Gold Level recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award and is a member of the Carolina Yacht Club.
Outside of the office, Jody is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys boating, golf, fly fishing, and travel. He and his wife, Chloe, reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They have two adult daughters, Chloe and Clark, who reside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
