Gray is a Senior Vice President at Baird and joined the firm in January 2011. Prior to Baird, he spent six years at Smith Barney, where he served as a Vice President and Senior Investment Management Consultant.
Gray graduated with honors from the Australian Defense Force Academy with a degree in Political Science and served seven years as an Army Infantry Officer. He also earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and holds the CPWA® and CIMA® designations.
Born in Canberra and raised in Sydney, Australia, Gray lived in Boston and Atlanta before entering financial services. During that time, he worked with international management consulting firms, specializing in business due diligence and mergers and acquisitions across the financial, medical products, and government sectors.
Outside of the office, Gray enjoys running, golf, sports (especially Duke basketball), history, and reading. He and his wife, Elizabeth, reside on Daniel Island, South Carolina.
