Gray is a Senior Vice President at Baird, joining the firm in January 2011 from Smith Barney where he had previously worked since 2005 as a Vice President and Senior Investment Management Consultant.
Gray graduated from the Australian Defense Force Academy with a BA (Honors) in Political Science and served 7 years as an Army Infantry officer. Gray also obtained his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and holds the CIMA® designation.
Gray was born in Canberra, Australia and grew up in Sydney. Prior to working in Financial Services, Gray lived in Boston and Atlanta for 7 years working with major international management consulting firms, specializing in business due diligence and M&A transactions in financial, medical product and government sectors.
Gray enjoys running, golf, sports (especially Duke basketball), history and reading. He and his wife Elizabeth reside on Daniel Island, SC.
